I am a paladin. What does that mean in the real world? It means I want to spend my life protecting people and righting injustices.
I'm also an engineer and I'm getting my masters degree in Finance. How does that fit with being a paladin? I am building a career in law enforcement, where I can investigate white-collar crime. It's a work in progress.
I am also fortunate enough to have discovered Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a sport I truly love. I am a three-stripe white belt at Zingano BJJ in Colorado.
Pretty much every RPG I ever played on my computer I had at least one character that was a paladin. The combination of decent combat ability with some healing skills was always too good to pass up.
ReplyDeleteA BJJ paladin would be even cooler (and I guess kind of fits into a martial arts context, if you go with the classic kung fu flick archetype, like in Once Upon A Time In China). ;)
